  1. Unzip AmpicoStudio-macOS.zip.
  2. Open Terminal and navigate to the folder containing Ampico Studio.app. Run the following to remove the macOS download restriction: 
    xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine "Ampico Studio.app"
  3. Double-click Ampico Studio.app to open it.
  4. On first launch a dialog asks for the server URL. Enter: 
    wss://collab.ampico.studio
  1. Unzip AmpicoStudio-Windows.zip. Right-click the file and select Extract All.
  2. Open Ampico Studio.exe. If Windows SmartScreen appears, select More info, then Run anyway.
  3. On first launch a dialog asks for the server URL. Enter: 
    wss://collab.ampico.studio

About

Ampico Studio is a MIDI composition tool for macOS and Windows. Multiple people can edit the same session at once, with each person's changes appearing for everyone in real time.

The name comes from the AMPICO reproducing piano, an early precursor to MIDI and step sequencing.
